ahum no he's not he's a guy who's pissed someone off, you don't get that many shows cancelled that often that quickly.
Now with his first movie, they obviously didn't feel he was ready to head a film by himself, hes a script writer, being the script writer and the director almost never actually happens so.... go dump your diaper and tell it to some guy who doesn't know how Hollywood works.
After getting fucked by the French with his second film script and yes I'm gonna blame the director he made an alien with a combined set of gentiles, that was edited out of the movie.
after producing a good show that got to it's 3-4 season without going down hill yet
he started heading down hill going dark quickly and started another series Angel a good series at the start dark humor which fits the characters involved, then slowly the two shows started switching archetypal while Angel got lighter on the drama Buffy got pitch black dark to uncomfortable levels.
before the last year of his first helmed project he started a Sci-fi show called Firefly that ended in 11 episodes out of 14 all aired out of order, this show was destined to fail and made not to last from standard Sci-fi tropes to bad sets to not the best choices in actors.
after that utter failing he succeeded in pulling a Farscape and ripping a prequel movie out and sating the fans. the driving Buffy into a rushed ending and in this time focus of his second helm showed slipped and got canceled and rushed to a shitty conclusion.
Three Years later
hes finaly trusted with a new series called Dollhouse met with mixed reactions.
which was canceled after two seasons, while better then 11 episodes... this is a very telling sign.
the way it looks no one either trust and or likes this guy in Hollywood, you don't get fucked over that many times without having done something to piss someone off, i mean this comes off as to much for as little of a reason as his fans think it is.
